According to the North American Neural Therapy Association: “Neural Therapy is a medical system that identifies and treats the disturbances in the body’s neurological control mechanisms that underlie all pain and illness. These disturbances, called “interference fields” can be found almost anywhere in the body …
What is an interference field?
In this context, it is an irritation of the nervous system such as a physical injury that can heal and yet still be stored as a “tissue memory.” This tissue memory, such as a scar, can be reawakened potentially by another irritation. This second irritation to the autonomic nervous system can occur even years after the first injury.
In this way, seeming disparate injuries or issues in the body may be connected energetically as the foci of “electrophysiological instability” and pain.[2]
In his book Introducing Neural Therapy, Dr. Robert Kidd provides detailed information on working with interference fields by treating these irritations such as scars with injections of procaine. However, he presents other methods to locate and release these fields.
This recent Townsend Letter on neural therapy presents case studies of patients experiencing “long haul” illness, emotional trauma and more. Read more.
