This 30 vial sized kit adds to the library of signatures related to the eye, eye function and vision in the Eyes & Seeing kit. This new kit includes eye muscles, eye nerves and related signatures such as myopia. The Light & Light Sources kit is an important companion.
This kit includes two special support vials that will be of particular interest to BICOM practitioners: Eye Support Liver Meridian and Eye Support Mix. The first is simply Liver Meridian, the second includes a number of signatures for herbs, vitamins, mineral and eye fluids.
KIT CONTENTS:
Cranial Nerves: Trochlear Nerves IV
Paired nerves that control the superior oblique muscle of the eyes.
Cranial Nerves: Oculomotor Nerves III
Paired nerves that control the movements of the superior, inferior and medial rectus muscles of the eye, and also the inferior oblique muscle.
Cranial Nerves: Abducens Nerves VI
Paired nerves that control the lateral rectus muscle.
Cranial Nerves: Optic Nerves II
Paired nerves that transmit visual information from the eyes to the brain.
Emmetropia
Perfect vision
Eye / Eyeball
Eye Lid
Eye Muscle: Superior rectus
This muscle moves the eye upwards.
Eye Muscle: Inferior rectus
This muscle moves the eye downwards.
Eye Muscle: Medial rectus
This muscle moves the eye inward (towards the nose).
Eye Muscle: Lateral rectus
This muscle moves the eye outward (away from the nose).
Eye Muscle: Superior oblique:
The muscle moves the eye downward and inward (intorsion).
Eye Muscle: Inferior oblique
This muscle moves the eye upward and outward (extorsion).
Eye Muscle: Levator palpebrae superioris
Elevates the upper eyelid.
Eye Muscle: Orbicularis Oculi
This muscle circles the eyes and is the primary muscle for closing the eyelids, both voluntarily and involuntarily
Eye Muscle: Ciliary Muscles
Located behind the iris, these muscles control the shape of the lens for focusing on objects at different distances
Eye Muscle: Iris Sphincter Muscles
Located within the iris, it constricts the pupil to control light entry.
Eye Muscle: Pupillary Dilator Muscles
Within the iris, these muscles dilate (widens) the pupil to allow more light to enter the eye in dim conditions.
Hyperopia
Farsightedness. This is a common condition in which distant objects are clear, but close objects look blurry
Kearns-Sayre syndrome
This is a rare mitochondrial disorder caused by large deletions in the mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), typically presenting before age 20 with a triad of drooping eyelids (ptosis), progressive external ophthalmoplegia (PEO), and pigmentary retinopathy
Miosis
constriction of the pupil
Mydriasis
dilation of the pupil
Myopia
Myopia, or nearsightedness, involves issues with the ciliary muscles and the overall growth and stretching of the eye, not necessarily a "weakening" of eye muscles. The condition makes it difficult to see distant objects clearly because the eye focuses light in front of the retina, leading to blurry vision in the far distance.
Nystagmus
involuntary eye movement
Oculopharyngeal muscular dystrophy (OPMD)
This is a rare muscle disease that causes droopy eyelids (ptosis) and difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) due to weakness in the eye and throat muscles.
Optical Chiasm
The optic nerves meet at the optic chiasm where fibers from each eye cross over before continuing as the optic tracts. The optic tracts relay visual information from each eye's contralateral visual field (the opposite side of your visual field).
Optic Tract
Strabismus
Eyeball misalignment
Eye Support Liver Meridian
Eye Support Mix
Ginko Biloba, Eyebright, Vitamin A (retinol), Vitamin A (beta-carotene), Vitamin C, B Vitamins, Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol), Omega 3, magnesium citrate, Lacrimal Fluid Tears, anti-oxidants, Aqueous Humor, Vitreous Humor, Peace, Love
Quantity: 30 Vials
Model: EMN
